You know those moments when you just click with someone for the first time and magic happens? Well, that's what went down when Boorloo/Perth’s Jarrod Jeremiah and Naarm/Melbourne’s Holly Hebe found themselves together in a studio for the first time. The pair have joined forces from all the way across the country to bring you the brand new indie-pop tune ‘Chocolate’.

Inspired by Lucy Sugerman's ‘Headache’ with Thomas Porter, and Lizzy McAlpine's ‘Bored’ for production, the pair wanted ‘Chocolate’ to be a feel-good, light-hearted ride for anyone who tunes in.

Speaking on the track, Jarrod explains that, “Chocolate itself is a cute homage to that inner lover boy/girl which people may think is cliche but I think if done well it resonates with the audience and can really warm hearts.”

The pair have had nothing short of an exciting 2023. Jeremiah has been showered with love from Triple J, CADA, Ones To Watch, Music Feeds and Purple Sneakers, and most recently played Channel 7's Telethon 2023 at the RAC Arena. His most recent single ‘London in June ft. Lily Agnes’ supported on Apple Music editorials New Music Daily, New in Pop, Added to Coles Radio Rotation and Music spotlight and more.

Hebe has had a year to remember, with recent releases ‘Ghost of You’ and ‘Red to be Blue ft. Daphnie’ receive plays on the Triple J, Triple J Unearthed and SYN airways. Recent releases have featured on Spotiy’s Fresh Finds and Fresh Finds Pop, as well as Apple Musics’ Mellow Days, In My Room and Lifted playlists. Wrapping up her VIC tour with The Rions, Holly will finish off the new year playing at NYE on the Hill.

2023 has been an incredible year for the pair - and Chocolate looks to be the icing on the cake for these two.
