Following her impressive debut project ‘Along The Way’, Melbourne / Naarm based artist Jas. returns with her first release of the year titled ‘EASY’, set to release on June 28th.

Celebrating love and companionship, 'EASY's' retro-inspired instrumentals and dulcet vocals, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that beautifully encapsulates the transformative power of finding the right person to share your life with. With dreamy production by SwimGood; Jas.’ vocals find a home within the swirling, ethereal guitars, and drum breaks that help capture the bittersweet feeling of transitioning from one season to the next.

When discussing the inspiration behind the song, Jas. expressed “My EP was filled with introspective lyrics and layered meanings so, for this first release, I really wanted to offer something light-hearted and direct. Relationships aren’t easy, but when the right person comes along, you make time, learn to compromise, communicate, and are open to making sacrifices; It’s surprising how easy and effortless it can be.”

At the heart of ‘EASY’ is a repeating motif that perfectly captures the simplicity and honesty of the song’s message: “I like it when I’m with you”. This phrase captures the depth of emotion in just a few words, reminding us that sometimes the simplest things can mean the most. Jas. achieved tremendous success in 2022, delivering music that dominated Spotify and Apple playlists such as New Music Friday, Study Mode, Fresh Finds Pop, and Coffee Club. Her music also resonated strongly on both local and international radio stations, including BBC1, Nova, Triple J, FBi and iHeart Radio. Additionally, her single ‘Ordinary’ received rotation on popular music video channels Rage and MTV, whilst Jas. also made her mark in the fashion world, being featured in brand campaigns for renowned names like Neuw Denim, New Era, and HoMie. Jas. concluded her EP release with a sold-out headline show at Melbourne’s Colour Club, and more recently, supported Adrian Dzvuke's Melbourne show at The Workers Club.
